The Western Districts Cat Society Cat Show is the latest in a stream of organisations to cancel or postpone events due to increasing COVID-19 restrictions, and as Greater Sydney goes into a two-week lockdown.
Joanne Greentree, a local resident and member of the group, said the show would be postponed to August 14, 2021 when she hoped "things might be back to some type of normality".
The cat show was scheduled to take place at North Richmond Panthers on Saturday, July 10 - one day after the current COVID-19 lockdown of Greater Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Wollongong is scheduled to end.
