The 2021 Winterfest Sydney Medieval Fair has been postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions in NSW.
Organisers announced on Facebook that due to "major changes in the COVID situation in NSW" they had decided "for the safety of guests and participants, to postpone the event to the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd of October, 2021."
"Our decision has been carefully considered by our organisers and with advice from a number of COVID safety specialists and liaising with NSW health directly," said the post.
"We know this is disappointing for all. Thank you for being understanding and staying with us during this journey.
"If you have bought tickets, we will be offering a choice of using your tickets for the later event, or refunds. If you obtained tickets using the Dine and Discover vouchers, the scheme does not allow refunds, but you may use your current tickets on the new dates."
Winterfest organisers promised that all ticket holders would receive an email outlining the changes.

"The story continues and we look forward to bringing the Winterfest experience to everyone in October so check back regularly," the post read.
