Global drag queen RuPaul's long time sidekick Michelle Visage has been announced to take on the role during a visit to Sydney on March 12.
The former girl group singer said Australian drag held a special place in her heart due to the "colour, humour and outrageousness".
"I'm ready to do everything in my power to encourage these beautiful queens to believe in themselves and let their inner light shine through," she said.
It will be the first time in the 15-year history the Drag Race franchise that Visage has taken on the hosting role.
Aussie comedian Rhys Nicholson will return as a judge and a rotating cast of Down Under drag royalty will also join the panel.
RuPaul Charles will remain an executive producer on the program and said he was excited for the franchise's expansion under Visage.
"I can't wait to see the franchise flourish under the leadership of the incredible Michelle Visage," Charles said.
The fourth season of the show will premiere later in 2024 with ten Australian and New Zealand drag queens vying for the title of "Down Under's Next Drag Superstar" and a cash prize.
