Ten Australians are putting their survival skills to the test in season two of Alone Australia.
The popular series is heading to New Zealand's South Island in 2024, after filming season one in Tasmania, and there's a twist.
In the new season contestants will for the first time be allowed to hunt with a bow and arrow, with wild pig, possum, tahr and red deer for the taking.
"This year we have upped the ante... participants face the fiercest challenge yet in the breathtaking but brutal South Island of New Zealand," ITV Studios Australia chief content officer Beth Hart said.
"The nail-biting stories, ten new survivalists and extreme conditions will not disappoint."
Meet the new contestants:
The show began in the US in 2015 before international franchises were picked up in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
Contestants are dropped into the wilderness with just 10 survival items of their choosing and must survive harsh conditions with no contact to the outside world.
Facing starvation, dehydration and loneliness, the last person standing wins $250,000.
Alone Australia season one was the SBS' most successful original show in history.
Season two premieres on March 27 at 7.30pm on SBS and SBS On Demand.
