The Australian and New Zealand businesses of Sara Lee are set to be sold to a private company owned by Klark and Brooke Quinn, who bought Darrell Lea chocolate out of administration in 2012.
Administrator Vaughan Strawbridge of FTI Consulting said Sara Lee staff and consumers had "rallied behind the business".
"Sara Lee is an iconic brand and category leader," he said.
"We have enjoyed working with the Sara Lee team and are pleased to see them come through this process," he said.
"Many staff have been with Sara Lee a long time and we have seen their passion for the business."
The sale is expected to be completed in coming weeks and will secure the jobs of more than 200 staff.
In a statement Klark and Brooke Quinn said they "could not be more proud to put the Aussie made and owned stamp on the Sara Lee brand".
The dessert company was established in Lisarow, NSW in 1971 and known for its frozen cheesecakes, pies, crumbles and ice cream.
In May 2023, FTI Consulting was also appointed as voluntary administrators of weight loss company Jenny Craig's Australian and New Zealand operations.
