The inaugural Robertson Potato Festival is just around the corner, so we have given this story good coverage so everyone can be ready for this celebration of all things potato. Pop it in your calendar and get your friends and family together to enjoy two days of family fun in the Highlands.
That marvellous Scottish festival Brigadoon is also going ahead. Organisers and the charities that benefit from this event are looking forward to another successful day. Whether or not you are of Celtic origin, you are sure to be moved by the swirling of bagpipes that echo through the mists on the morning of the festival. Don't miss it.
As we head into harvest time for our grape growers, let's all hold thumbs that Mother Nature holds off on the grapes and vintage this year will be great for our wineries.
