A woman who had fallen on a walking track near Wimbie Beach was under the watchful eye of dog Toby, who escorted her to safety with emergency service crews on Tuesday, September 28.
The woman in her 60s was walking a remote track alone with two dogs when she slipped on loose rocks and fell down an embankment, says a NSW Ambulance spokesman.
Just after 10.30am, emergency services received the call and rushed to the woman's aid.
Batemans Bay Fire and Rescue station officer, Troy Ingle, said crews found the woman 800m down the track with an injured leg.

Firefighters assisted paramedics by carrying the woman to the ambulance.
"We used specialist equipment called a stokes litter and mule, which is a wheel attached underneath to roll people out," he said.
Mr Ingle said the woman was under the watchful eye of the two dogs, especially her friend's dog, Toby.
"Toby sat beside her the whole time," he said.
"Toby and her dog escorted her out."
Mr Ingle reminded bush walkers to download the Emergency Plus App on their smartphones. He said it was a helpful tool to contact emergency services and provide an accurate location.
