Five of the 239 new locally-acquired cases of COVID-19 recorded in the 24 hours to 8pm last night were from the Penrith local government area (LGA).
The five new cases in Penrith brings the total in that LGA to 22 cases with five of these from an unknown source. The new cases were from a known source of transmission.
Hawkesbury cases remain stable at six.
In Blacktown, there were 16 new cases overnight, bringing the total in that LGA to 146.
There were two new cases in The Hills Shire, bringing the total in that region to 20.
Blue Mountains cases remain stable at two.
Sixty-six cases across NSW were infectious in the community, and the isolation status of 70 cases remains under investigation.
"Based on those numbers we can only assume things are going to get worse before they get better," she said.
She urged people to get vaccinated.
"We are making it easier for people to get vaccinated. Please come forward for vaccination," Ms Berejiklian said.
"It is our way forward out of this."
Puma Energy Australia, at 365-367 Garfield Road West - on the corner of Richmond Road - was attended by a confirmed case on Monday, July 19, from 11am to 11:05am.
If you were there at the time, you are considered a "casual contact" and must get tested and self-isolate until you receive a negative result.
