Hawkesbury Race Club will be holding its annual heat of the 2021 Polytrack Provincial Championship this Saturday, March 6 at its Clarendon track.
The club are excited for the first big event on the 2021 calendar and are welcoming everyone for what they're hoping will be a great day.
The heats of the Provincial Championship can be both an intriguing betting spectacle and enormous thrill for the punters, regarded by many as not to be missed.
The club and crowd will be cheering on the Hawkesbury horses and trainers as they fight for their chance at both $150,000 in prize money for the heat, and $500,000 in the final to be held at Royal Randwick in Sydney on The Championships Day 2 - Queen Elizabeth Stakes Day, April 10.
Local horses in the heat include: Garry White's Brown Thomas, Claire Lever's Diva Belle, Jason Attard's Munich and Noel Mayfield-Smith's Invictus Felix.
The club has also announced its various sponsors for the race day, with some great local and industry businesses getting on board.
They will be joined by Castlereagh Feeds, Jennifer Churchill Memorial, The Bird In Hand (Pitt Town), Superior Turf Services, Wasteflex and Polytrack (who is the feature sponsor of the 2021 Provincial Championships).
Tickets and packages for the day can be pre-purchased from the club's website at https://tinyurl.com/4rfn6xy2.
