The annual Lander Toyota Ladies Day at Hawkesbury Race Club will return next Thursday, November 5.
In what has become a go-to event of Hawkesbury Race Club's Spring Racing season, held on the same day as Kennedy Oaks Day at Flemington racecourse, Ladies Day is sure to pull in some big numbers at Clarendon.
More than $405,000 in prize money is up for grabs.
The day will be highlighted by the Listed Lander Toyota Ladies Day Cup over 1600 meters and is set to feature some of Australia's best trainers, jockeys and horses.
While the horses might be the main attraction, off the track there will be plenty of action for the days attendees.
This will be led by the eagerly anticipated Fashions on the Field, facilitated by renowned stylist The Style Doctor (Kash O'Hara).
The judges will be Carole Maher, Leena Thompson, Roxy Lehmann and Joel Anthony.
Photos will be taken from 12pm to 2pm. You must upload your photo to your instagram to complete your entry in the competition, tagging @hawkesburyraces and @thestyledr in your photo, use the hashtag #HRCladiesdayFOTF and the category you are entering.
Finalists in each category will be invited back at 3pm, with the winner and runner up to be announced for Lady of the Day, Gentleman of the Day, Best Contemporary Look and the Carole Maher Best Hat.
Entry criteria includes; you must be 18 years and overs, COVID safe (without flu like symptoms), pre purchased Ladies Day ticket and have photo uploaded to confirm competition entry.
You can enter one category and then the best hat will be chosen from the finalists of all categories.
Judges will be looking at multiple criteria: standout racewear (traditional, contemporary), something they haven't seen before, look must complement your body, hat or fascinator for women and tie or bow tie for men, attention to detail and appropriateness.
Food trucks, pop up bars and live music will further enhance the colourful atmosphere of Hawkesbury's annual event.
