Hawkesbury Police are seeking assistance in relation to a bushfire in Bligh Park last weekend, which was suspected to have been started by fireworks.
Police and Fire Brigade officers attended bushland in the vicinity of Colonial Avenue and Rifle Range Road, Bligh Park, just after midnight on Sunday, October 18, after reports of a scrub fire.
Emergency services personnel found an area approximately 20 metres by 20 metres on fire, which was quickly extinguished.
While investigating the cause of the fire, Police were made aware that fireworks had been let off in the vicinity, which they said was the likely cause.
