The haters don't bother Cameron Munster - which is just as well.
The Melbourne playmaker expects keyboard warriors to be out in force ahead of the NRL season decider thanks to his 2018 grand final brain explosions.
And he doesn't expect much love at ANZ Stadium either when the Storm run out against Penrith on Sunday, claiming "nobody like us" in Sydney.
But Munster reckons it will only spur him on in his bid to show he can step up on the big stage and make amends for his 2018 disappointment.
The classy pivot reckons he hasn't lost much sleep over Melbourne's 21-6 grand final loss to Sydney Roosters two years ago - the last time the Storm played in a season decider.
However, it clearly still irks the star after he lost his cool and became the first player in history to be sin-binned twice in a season decider.
"It is what it is. There are going to be a lot of keyboard warriors and a lot of people trying to bring up that moment for ages," Munster said on Monday.
"But it doesn't faze me too much. It wasn't a great moment for myself or my family but I have moved on.
"Everyone makes mistakes.
"The only way I can make amends for what happened in 2018 is go out and try to play the best footy I can, prove to everyone that I can play on the big stage."
While wary of social media ahead of the grand final, Munster also doesn't expect the welcome mat to be thrown out for Melbourne when they fly into Sydney this weekend.
But the Storm five-eighth reckons nothing will trouble his side after overcoming the many obstacles thrown up by the COVID-19 hit season to reach their fourth grand final in five years.
"Living in Melbourne, you don't get too much media. We're pretty much in the classifieds," Munster laughed.
"Coming to Sydney, when you play games or grand finals, you realise how much stuff they carry on about (in media) - it's pretty funny.
"Nobody likes us in Sydney.
"That's understandable. We're from Melbourne and it's not a rugby league town.
"We've been so successful for the past 12 to 15 years. That's not ideal for the Sydney clubs, they've been around a lot longer than us.
"In saying that, we'll go down there with a lot of confidence. "We've been playing against hostile crowds for almost all of the season."
