Head down to Bakers Delight at Richmond Mall and Richmond Marketplace on Tuesday (September 29) for your chance to get a free Cheesymite Scroll to celebrate the franchise's 40th birthday.
Each Richmond store will have 100 Cheesymite Scrolls to give away, so get in quick to get one (there's a one-per-customer limit).
Manager of the Richmond stores, Pauline, said she was "really looking forward" to giving the scrolls away to the community that supported them.
The local franchise has been involved in a number of community initiatives over the years, including fundraisers.
"We've been involved with the local Salvos and soup kitchen, provide bread for the canteen at Richmond Primary School, donate product to school for end of term morning teas, and the local stores have raised over $6,000 late last year for the local firies," Pauline said.
The famous Bakers Delight franchise began back in 1980 when founders Lesley and Roger Gillespie opened a single bakery storefront in Hawthorn.
It has now grown to more than 650 bakeries world-wide, two of which are in the Hawkesbury.
