Want to hear some good news about koalas? The National Zoo and Aquarium is asking for suggestions for a name for its new baby koala.
We'd say hold off on "John".
Mum Matilda recently gave birth to a baby joey, the first born at the zoo. The gender is not yet known.
As part of Save the Koala Month, the zoo is seeking suggestions for a name.
Go to the zoo's Facebook page, look for the post about the koala and leave your suggestion in the comments section.
We are rooting for these bang-on suggestions from a punter - Rona or Pooh ("both synonymous with 2020").
