There's bound to be local interest in Hawkesbury Regional Museum's upcoming historical talk about the 10 'plagues' of Sydney and their impact - the first museum event post-COVID lockdown.
For years the settlement of Sydney was protected from epidemics by the buffer of distance, but more ships brought diseases.
Over the decades, we have faced these 'plagues' and the consequent panic. But what have we learnt from these mistakes?
