A couple of hot 4WDs helped attract locals to support Crofts Pitt Shop in Pitt Town on Saturday.
Businesses were doing it together over the weekend in Pitt Town to spread the message "shop small, shop local".
On Saturday, legal firm, Winter Legal, joined with Pitt Town cafe Croft's Pitt Shop to sponsor its initiative to serve up discount coffees for the day.
To mark the occasion and draw attention to their cause, a display of several hot 4WDs was hosted on the shop lawn.
This little fella basked in the sun while his owners sampled a cut-price coffee.
Croft's Pitt Shop's Janine Croft and Winter Legal's Emma Rowles appealed to locals to support their local businesses.
"I've always supported small local business and it's more important now than ever," said Ms Rowles.
Both women urged locals to check out the handle #ShopSmall on Facebook to check for Hawkesbury businesses to support.
