Windsor Polo Club is gearing up for the Polo International in April with the Flannels English polo team returning to Aussie shores for the 112th Polo International, challenging Australia's best polo players and vying for the coveted trophy.
The event is regarded as the 'Ashes' of polo.
Guests will have the chance to watch the highest goal polo in its purest form in Australia on Sunday, April 5 at Windsor Polo Club.
"Last year's test was a spectacular showcase of our horses, players and fields," said Glen Gilmore, Ellerton Polo Manager and formenr Australian Polo Captain.
"It was a brilliant day full of fast exciting polo, amazing horses and full-on fun.
"This year sees us up against the UK again. They will be very tough.
"James Harper and Ollie Cudmore are both accustomed to playing these matches and know how to get a win."
James Harper, English Polo Captain, who is currently in New Zealand for the NZ Open, said he was "looking forward to having another crack at the Aussies".
"We need to make up for our surprise loss last year."
The event will have entertainment both on and off the field, along with the Juan and Me Fashions on the field competition with prizes valued at over $3000.
