A man has been airlifted to hospital after falling three metres from his roof while inspecting his Kurrajong home's sprinkler system.
A CareFlight statement said the 50-year-old sustained abdomen, chest and pelvis injuries after the fall this morning.
"The man was reportedly inspecting his sprinkler system at his residence in Kurrajong," the statement said.
"CareFlight's Rapid Response Helicopter was tasked shortly before 10am and landed in a nearby Kurrajong property.
"NSW Ambulance provided initial treatment to the man at the scene of the incident and transported him to CareFlight's aeromedical crew.
"CareFlight's specialist doctor and critical care paramedic provided additional treatment to the patient to stabilise him."
The man was flown to Westmead Hospital by CareFlight under the ongoing treatment of the medical team.
