A five-year-old boy has been airlifted to hospital after falling two storeys through an open window.
The boy had been attending a function at Lower Portland with his parents when the incident happened shortly after 9pm on Saturday, November 2, Hawkesbury police said in a statement.

"It is reported the young boy was climbing on furniture before falling through the open window and landing on an awning a number of meters below, before sliding off the awning and falling a further four metres onto the ground," police stated.
The boy was airlifted by Careflight to Westmead Children's Hospital in a stable condition.
"[He] is lucky to not suffer any serious injuries," police stated.
