Enterprise Hawkesbury, the region's first co-working space launched in Richmond

Richmond now has a brand new co-working space, Enterprising Hawkesbury, for the region's growing number of service providers to get out of the house to work in a professional space, hold meetings and network.

Founder Angela Maguire said she had struggled to find somewhere locally to do business.

"The Hawkesbury has a growing number of service providers - including communications consultants, IT professionals and accountants - who work from home. Many do so to avoid a big commute to the city," she said.

"Having run my own marketing and events business - The Gap Consultancy - from the Hawkesbury over the last five years, I have encountered some incredible local supply suppliers who are doing amazing work. We have a growing network of top-notch professionals who work together on projects and refer business to each other, but there was nowhere locally for us to get out out of our house - and pyjamas - to meet in a suitable environment.

"Enterprising Hawkesbury's first co-working space in Richmond will become the hub for all local professionals and other service providers looking to gain a toe-hold in the Hawkesbury market. This is our first space, however, we have a plan to grow the number of sites locally to meet local demand and expectations."

The space offers flexible hiring solutions, a private meeting room, and hot desks for casual or long-term hire.
