Windsor Polo Club have kicked off their 2019 Spring season

Windsor Polo Club has kicked off its spring season the past two weekends, holding tournaments for the Sydney and surrounding regions.

Around the ground there has been upgrades made to the facilities.

The club did plenty of work over the off-season, which included adding power to the scoreboard and centre hut, no longer relying on a generator, and fixing the worst parts of the driveway, planning to complete the rest of it next off-season.

WPC is also kicking off a new initiative whereby people can sponsor or buy the naming rights of some of the upcoming tournaments.

This Saturday and Sunday, September 14 and 15, Riverlands Polo will be holding a tournament. Grades 8g, 4g, 0g and Subz will play, with 8g having five chukkas and the rest four.

The WPC clubhouse will be open all day for refreshments and food.

Nominations for the the JK McKay 12 goal Tournament and the Hawkesbury Cup 8 goal are now being accepted through the WPC website. Teams will play three games to be scheduled from Wednesday, October 9 through to Sunday, October 13.
