Vision GymSports have added a brand new parkour section to its gym in South Windsor.
The gym's goal is to 'see our children grow into happy and healthy young adults with the strength and confidence to meet today's world.'
Vision caters to all age groups and this course is no different as it will provide opportunity for people to learn parkour in a safe environment.
The parkour section, or as General Manager Deon Ellison calls it, the ninja section, will hopefully push the growing sport in the Hawkesbury area.
"We have a large gymnastics group, but it is mainly for the girls and as our number of boys get stronger and parkour is gaining momentum ... we wanted to provide them with a place to safely practice," said Ellison.
"Parkour is all the boys want to do and this pushes the sport further especially in the area where there isn't anything else like this.
"We provide a nice and safe gymnastics area, with padding, but still it has the street look, allowing people to learn how to jump from boxes and safely land."
The parkour section is only a small part of the gym but if Vision receive enough support they may expand it to a larger area, allowing further growth of the sport.
Vision have hosted plenty of successful athletes in recent times including the Hawkesbury's Nic Rappa, the World's top wakeboarder, and Australian Ninja Warrior competitor Daniel Walker.
