The Men in Black are back!
And this time, it's not all about the men.
Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Endgame costars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson step into the beloved shoes of Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones to lead the brand new entry to the franchise, Men in Black International.
This film is not a reboot or a remake, but a delayed sequel with some fresh new characters, a la Jurassic World.
It sees determined new Men in Black operative Agent M (Thompson), paired up with the talented but roguish Agent H (Hemsworth) to retrieve a valuable item from the hands of alien ne'er-do-wells.
Along the way they meet an adorable little alien character nicknamed Pawny who all but steals the show.
The Big Sick actor Kumail Nanjiani voices Pawny brilliantly, and is just one of the variety of talented support stars in Men in Black International.
Emma Thompson (Love Actually) reprises her role of Agent O from Men in Black 3 while series newcomers Liam Neeson (Taken), Rafe Spall (Life of Pi) and Rebecca Ferguson (Mission Impossible: Fallout) round out the talented cast.
Provided you're not looking for Academy Award-winning prestige from your alien movies, there's little reason not to like Men in Black International.
It's full of fun, there are funny moments, the aliens look cool and it has never been a bad idea to watch Chris Hemsworth.
But it's really Thompson's movie. Her character drives the plot, and it's through her eyes that we explore most of the alien/MIB antics in the film.
The actress has been enjoying a career high in the last few years, snagging roles in Rocky spin-off Creed, the Marvel Cinematic Universe and critically-acclaimed sci-fi TV program Westworld.
And it's for good reason - Thompson has an ease about her, a sense of comfort on screen, and brilliant comic timing.
Where kids of the 90s grew up wanting to be will Smith's Agent K, a new generation of girls can grow up to idolise Agent M.
If you're down for some fun, easy laughs and alien shenanigans, then Men in Black International is the film for you.
