Macquarie Greens candidate calls for an end to political donations from fossil fuel industry

Political donations from the fossil fuel industry should be banned to clear the path for a renewable future, Macquarie Greens candidate Kingsley Liu said.

The industry had donated more than $3.9 million to Labor and the Coalition in the last three years, however the Greens do not take corporate donations, he said. .

"We are also the only party with a fully costed plan for a transition to 100 per cent renewable energy by 2030," Mr Liu said.
