A Riverstone man is due to face Picton Local Court after allegedly discharging a firearm near Camden.
Another man was jogging along Cawdor Road about 3.45pm on Saturday, March 9 when he allegedly heard two shots travel past him.
The 50-year-old jogger feared for his safety, flagging down a passing motorist and calling police.
Camden Police Area Command officers searched the area.
Following inquiries, police spoke with a 28-year-old man who was using a firearm at a property on Westbrook Road, Cawdor.
He was arrested and taken to Narellan Police Station where he was charged with using a firearm disregarding public safety; and using a firearm in a manner likely to injure a person or property.
Several firearms were seized and his firearms licence was surrendered.
The man was granted bail to appear at Picton Local Court on April 9.
