Perth Glory coach Tony Popovic is embracing the pressure that comes with being the A-League's top dog and is backing his team to avoid complacency.
Glory sit seven points clear on top of the A-League table following a stunning start under Popovic's reign.
Perth have lost just once in 18 games - against Sydney FC in round nine - and are now well placed to lock up the Premiers' Plate for finishing first.
With two-thirds of the regular season now played, Popovic says his team are entering the "business end" of the campaign.
And he is embracing questions about whether Glory can maintain their hot form for the rest of the season.
"We're being asked now whether we can stay at the top. It's a good question to have to answer," Popovic said ahead of Saturday night's home clash with Brisbane Roar.
"The best way of answering that is by our actions. Words are one thing - they won't be remembered on Saturday night. Our actions will be remembered.
"It's a nice problem to have."
Popovic isn't using the lure of the Premiers' Plate to motivate his players.
He says winning it will merely be a feat the club and players celebrate if and when it is locked away.
On paper Glory shouldn't encounter many problems against a Brisbane side that sits second last with just two wins to their name.
But the Roar's 2-1 win over Sydney FC last week proved they are capable of being a giant killer.
However, the Roar have since sold star striker Adam Taggart to an Asian club, while Luke DeVere (knee), Jack Hingert (knee), and Alex Lopez (suspended) are also out.
Glory are still without defender Alex Grant, who has missed the past two games with an unusual abdominal injury.
"It's not something that's an easy fix," Popovic said.
"It's nothing serious, but we need to take our time and make sure that when he comes back, he's fit and well and we can try to avoid him breaking down again."
