A passenger had to be freed from the wreckage of a vehicle that hit a tree at Oakville.
The Toyota Corolla was being driven by an 18-year-old man along Boundary Road about 7.30pm on Sunday, December 16 when the incident occurred, a Hawkesbury police spokesman said.
Passenger trapped after vehicle hits tree
The vehicle had been travelling north when it lost control and hit the tree about 100 metres south of the Boundary Road/Cateract Road intersection.
There were three passengers in the vehicle, and the front passenger was trapped for a short time before being freed. The passenger was taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment to leg injuries.
The rear passengers and the driver suffered minor injuries, the spokesman said.
