Police have appealed for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing for nearly a week from Schofields.
“Ying Jing, also known as Betty, was last seen by her family leaving a house on Beacon Street, Schofields, about 10am on Friday, November 2,” police said in a statement. “She hasn’t been seen by her family since.
“Officers from Quakers Hill Police Area Command were notified, and investigations commenced.
“Police have been told that Betty was seen leaving a convenience store in Burwood at about 7.45am on Tuesday, November 6 and was in the company of a man.”
Betty is described as being of Asian appearance, about 165cm tall, of slim build, with brown eyes with long black hair.
The man she was seen with is described as being of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance, with a muscular build, black hair and a tattoo on his left forearm.
