A 17-year-old girl has been arrested after a man was allegedly stabbed at a Freemans Reach home.
The man presented to Hawkesbury Hospital early yesterday (Tuesday, September 11) suffering a stab wound to his upper back, Hawkesbury police said in a statement.
“Whilst the male was transported to Nepean Hospital to undergo surgery in relation to the injury, Hawkesbury police identified a crime scene at a residential premises in Panorama Crescent, Freemans Reach,” the statement said.
“Further investigation by Hawkesbury detectives resulted in the arrest of a 17-year-old female from Freemans Reach at a Windsor address.”
The girl was taken to Windsor police station and chartged with wounding a person intending to cause grievous bodily harm.
“Bail was refused requiring the young person to appear before Parramatta Children's Court,” police stated. “An Apprehended Domestic Violence Order was served on the young person whilst in police custody.”
