Guns, knives, crossbow seized by police from Richmond property

A cache of weapons – including a military assault rifle, crossbow and knives – has been seized by police from a Richmond property.

Police attended the property about 9.30am today (Tuesday, August 28), where they discovered the weapons both in the house and a shed.

Officers attached to the Drugs and Firearms Squad were still at the property at 1.30pm today, where hundreds of items had been seized.

Among them were five long arms including an SKS military assault rifle, crossbows, knives, arrows, and ballistic vests and helmets.

One man has been arrested in relation to the find, however further details were unavailable.
