Hawkesbury City Netball Association's top metro league team remains at the top of the table with three rounds to the semi-finals.
The team has recovered from its first and only loss of the season to notch up six more consecutive wins, the latest seeing them walk away 43-30 victors over Inner Western Suburbs in round 15 on Monday night, July 30.
The season’s success has seen the team take the top spot on the table, two points clear of nearest rivals Hills District – the very team that saw them lose by seven goals in Round Nine.
The team will next face Eastwood Ryde in round 16 on August 18.
Meanwhile, in the sixth division Hawkesbury City faced St George District on Tuesday night,
coming off the back of a narrow one goal victory over Campbelltown District in round 15 on July 24.
The team is currently sitting at eighth place on the table, 17 points behind leaders Illawarra District.
The association is currently calling for nominations for junior reps aged 11 to 14 years, as well as junior rep coaches and managers. Forms can be found on the association’s website, http://hcna.nsw.netball.com.au/. and must be submitted by August 12.
