KEEP Sunday, July 29 in your diary because Hawkesbury Council is inviting the community out for a fun family day in the sun for Hawkesbury Fest.
There will be lots of activities for families including jumping castles, face painting, craft activities, dog shows, a pop up library, food stalls, giveaways and community stalls.
The event will also act as the official opening of the new playground at Governor Phillip Park.
Hawkesbury Fest is part of Local Government Week, and residents will have the chance to find out how they can benefit from a variety of council programs, services and activities.
The event will also celebrate National Tree Day, and attendees will be able to choose from a range of free plants to take home.
Hawkesbury Fest will take place between 11am and 3pm at Governor Phillip Park, located at the end of George Street, Windsor, next to the Hawkesbury River.
