Dressage NSW received record entries for its annual Clarendon Winter Festival, held at its home grounds from June 7 to 10.
The festival attracted the cream of the state’s riders up to Grand Prix level, including Olympic and World Equestrian Games representatives as well as stars of the Para Equestrian world.
Dressage NSW president Helen Lawson said this year's festival had been very well attended by competitors of all ages from around the state.
"The four-day festival featured non-stop competition from preparatory through the Grand Prix, and was once again very well supported by our riders. In fact, this year’s entries were the largest ever for a Winter Festival event," Ms Lawson said.
"Inclement weather meant some tests had to move from the grass into the sand arenas in the grounds of Hawkesbury Riding Club, and we are very lucky to have such accommodating neighbours so nearby.
"I would like to congratulate all our competitors, and extend thanks to all our sponsors who continue to support our sport through their generous contributions.
"Finally, to all the volunteers and organisers of the event, a big thank you. Obviously without all your hard work we would not have had such an enjoyable event."
