HAWKESBURY City Football Club’s first grade team has fallen to back-to-back losses after a lightning start to the season.
The team dropped its second match in a row at the weekend, this time at the hands of Bankstown City FC at Ilinden Sports Centre on Sunday afternoon.
Brad Gibson was the goal scorer for City in the Football NSW NPL 3 match. It was his fifth goal of the season for City in the round 13 match.
The second loss for the team has seen it drop to third spot on the ladder, after being the leading team for a number of weeks earlier in the season.
City has 27 points now, and is tied with Bankstown. St George City FA is in the top spot with 32 points.
In round 14, City will take on Dulwich Hill as they end a three game road trip and play at Bensons Lane on Saturday evening.
