HAWKESBURY cricketer Naomi Stalenberg has been named in the Australian women’s T20 squad, which will tour India and compete in a tri-series tournament in March.
Australia will play six matches, three against England and three against India at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai and hope to qualify for the final, to be played on March 31.
Stalenberg was in fine form for the Sydney Thunder women in the WBBL this season, and will likely line up for NSW in the Women’s National Cricket League final on Saturday.
She told the Gazette last year that she was determined to get back into the Australian team, after a brief taste at the international level.
The first match of the series will be played on March 22.
