A 39-year-old cyclist has been killed after he was struck and trapped under a vehicle in a cemetery in Sutherland.
Police and emergency services were called to the Woronora Cemetery on Linden Street, Sutherland, shortly before 7am, and found the male cyclist trapped under a Toyota Corolla hatchback.
The cyclist is understood to be a father of two from the area.
He died at the scene.
The 29-year-old driver of the car underwent mandatory testing at Sutherland Hospital and has provided police with a statement.
Police remain at the cemetery where investigations are ongoing.
