Get ready for a not so expense spending spree next week as Anglicare slashes the price of its winter stock as part of National Op Shop Week.
Anglicare’s Richmond store, at 231 Windsor Street, will be having a 3-2-1 sale during National Op Shop Week where shoppers can buy a great piece at a great price.
Starting on Monday, August 28, all winter stock will be priced at $3. This will reduce to $2 on Wednesday and Thursday. Finally, all winter stock will be priced at $1 on Friday and Saturday.
Anglicare Shops Manager Stephen Kuo encouraged local residents to get in store and pick up a bargain.
“We would love to see Richmond residents come to our store and unearth that great find. It’s a chance to stand out from the crowd, while making a difference,” Me Kuo said.
According to Bronwyn Ashcroft, Anglicare Richmond Shop Manager, there are plenty of bargains for sale every week.
“Come in and grab a bargain. Our shop provides wonderful stock at great prices and service second to none.
“We provide top quality garments at reasonable prices. We are also the front line for our welfare services and we refer clients onto these and other local services if needed.”
National Op Shop Week 2017, August 27 to September 2, looks to help charities raise more funds for their work in the community by boosting clothing stocks and sales.
“Funds raised from our stores go back to Anglicare to help run community programs throughout Sydney and the Illawarra.
“If you’re searching for something different to wear, and you want to help others, shopping at a charity store is a great way to do both.
“Op shopping for that perfect outfit can take time, so get out your comfortable walking shoes, and come down to our stores.
“If you’re not looking to shop, Op Shop Week is a great time to donate your clothes. That dress or suit lingering at the back of your wardrobe could be someone else’s favourite item. Just be sure to donate something you’d be happy to give to your friend.”
