Judging for the annual awards gets underway this week, following the announcement of finalists.
The anonymous judges will look at all aspects of excellent customer service, including everything from greeting and customer acknowledgement to detailed product knowledge and value for money.
They may also look at other aspects of the business, such as its website.
Finalist businesses can also submit information about themselves including: the history of the business, staff training and motivation, work in the local community and environmental sustainability efforts as well as customer testimonials.
The full list of finalists is available at www.thebusinessawards.com.au.
The highlight of each year’s awards is the presentation evening, which includes a three-course meal and entertainment as well as the announcement of the category winners.
Precedent Productions managing director and awards founder Steve Loe said the awards night itself was a wonderful opportunity for businesses to let their hair down.
“There’s an incredible atmosphere at the awards evening – a real buzz in the air,” he said. “Local business owners and their staff work incredibly hard, so it’s great to see everyone smiling, talking and enjoying themselves.
“The food and service at Windsor Function Centre is always superb, as is the entertainment.”
The awards presentation night will be held on Wednesday, September 13.
To book tickets call Precedent Productions on 8577 5060 or visit www.thebusinessawards.com.
Major sponsors of the awards are Hawkesbury City Council and NOVA Employment. Support sponsors are Richmond Marketplace, Vintage FM and Hawkesbury City Chamber of Commerce.
