A 48-year-old man has been taken to hospital after a horse kicked him in the face at a property in the Hawkesbury yesterday.
CareFlight’s rapid response rescue helicopter flew to the scene in Cattai shortly after 2.30pm.
Police, Rural Fire Service and NSW Ambulance crews also attended the emergency.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and critical care paramedic treated the man at the scene for multiple injuries to the face.
The specialist medical team decided to take the man to hospital by road ambulance for ongoing care.
He was admitted to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
