THE RMS has advised it has started essential maintenance work on Putty Road, East Kurrajong, between Teale Road and Roberts Creek.
Work will involve upgrading drains to reduce ongoing maintenance and improve safety for drivers.
Around 30 shifts of work will be carried out between 7am and 5pm during the week until the end of July, excluding public holidays and weather permitting.
Traffic control and partial road closures will be in place in both directions.
