RICHMOND High School had five students compete in the representative sporting arena over the past couple of months.
Brieanna Hall, Cameron McMillan, Michael Wilkins, Cameron Kwok and Riley Mockford all moved above the local level in school sports.
Year 10 student Brieanna Hall competed in the New South Wales Combined High School state swimming carnival, and came away with a third place for the 50-metre freestyle.
Year 10 basketballers Cameron McMillan and Michael Wilkins have both qualified for the Sydney West basketball team, and will compete in the NSW CHS state tournament in May.
The pair play representative basketball for Penrith, and are part of Richmond High School’s basketball program.
Baseballer Riley Mockford was set to represent Sydney West at a tournament, but unfortunately it was rained out, and he will have to wait until next year.
Cameron Kwok was meant to play cricket for Sydney West, but his tournament was also rained out, however, Kwok has earned himself an overseas trip out of it.
He will travel to England in June with the NSW CHS cricket team, which he said he was very excited about.
Kwok also had his first season of full grade cricket for Hawkesbury Cricket Club, with the 16-year-old playing in 4th and 5th grade, when not playing in the Poidevin-Gray Shield.
