THERE’LL be a range of fun activities and workshops for kids taking place at the Hawkesbury Libraries and Gallery this April school holidays.

At the libraries
Kids can drop into the Hawkesbury Central Library any day during the holidays (Saturday, April 8 to Sunday, April 23) and build their own Lego creations at the Lego Play Area for free - no need to book.
At both Hawkesbury Central and Richmond Branch Libraries, there will be the following sessions.
- Learn how to draw your favourite Superheroes & Villains: Tuesday, April 11, 2-3.30pm, $7, for 8 years+.
- Decorate an egg-shaped canister to put your Easter treats in: Thursday, April 13, 2-3pm, $5, for 5 years+.
- Learn how to use hand tools to create machines with Meccano: Tuesday, April 18, 2.30-4.30pm, $7, for 8 years+.
Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult, and bookings are essential through Eventbrite or phone 4560 4460.
Hawkesbury Central Library is located at 300 George Street, Windsor, and the Richmond Branch is at 29 West Market Street, Richmond.
At the gallery
The Gallery will host the following activities for school-age children, each session costing $15 and all materials supplied.
- Colourful Chameleon: Wednesday, April 19, 10am-noon. Using bright colours, create a vibrant and fun watercolour artwork like the one in the picture.
- 2D or 3D Art?: Thursday, April 20, 10am-noon. Using mixed paper media, make a cool sculptural hanging artwork of a face that comes right out of the canvas!
- Geometric Pets: Friday, April 21, 10am-noon. Using geometric line and a variety of tones design your own modern artwork of your favourite pet animal.
