This was the first time Tops-Alexander had visited Australia since representing the country at the Olympics in Rio.
Tops-Alexander grew up in Sydney and spent many years as a child training with Mr Sanna at his stables.
“It hasn’t changed a lot since I’ve been here. It’s a beautiful place and he has a great facility and he’s still at it and giving lessons every day,” Ms Tops-Alexander said.
“He’s seen me go through a lot of things, and he’s been a big supporter of that. He found me some great horses while I was here towards the end of my time, and one of those ones I did take away with me, Mr Dundee.”
Ms Tops-Alexander has represented Australia at numerous Olympics and World Equestrian Games.
