Member for Hawkesbury Dominic Perrottet wished the 508 local students the best in their exams.
“Obtaining the HSC qualification is a fantastic achievement. It is internationally recognised and the pinnacle for school-based education in Australia,” Mr Perrottet said.
“For any students worried about the exams, healthy eating, getting enough sleep and regular exercise all help to reduce stress. It’s also important to talk to someone if you are feeling overwhelmed.”
NSW has a long-term trend of increasing numbers of students completing Year 12. This year, nearly 5,000 more students will sit HSC exams compared to five years ago; 69,350 students, the highest number on record, are on track to achieve the HSC credential.
Students will receive their results via email, SMS and online from 6am on Thursday, December 15.
The Hawkesbury Central Library in Windsor is providing dedicated study zones for HSC students during the duration of the exams. The study zones are free and there is no need to book, but call 4560 4460 if you need more information.
