FINGERS crossed for fine weather this Saturday because cyclists will be out en masse for the Yabba Dabba Cycle Do free cycling event to celebrate NSW Bike Week.
A range of activities will be on offer near the Visitor Information Centre at Clarendon from 10:30am until 1:30pm, including prizes, lessons and advice.
AustCycle instructors will be offering cycling lessons for all ages (kids’ lessons at 10.30am and 1pm; group lessons at 11am).
For the young ones, there will be a prize wheel and extra prizes will be awarded to those who dress up in a caveman costume or animal prints.
All attendees will receive a Best Cycle Rides Around the Hawkesbury pocket-sized guide.
Free bicycle maintenance will be offered between noon and 1pm.
This event was originally scheduled for Sunday, September 18, however it was rained out and cancelled.
