RICHMOND Marketplace owner ISPT will invest more than $1.5 million in an upgrade to the centre, with renovations due for completion by the end of the year.
The development will see a fresh, new-look Food Court, with contemporary furniture and finishes, as well as upgraded amenities and parent’s room. The Centre Management office will also be renovated.
ISPT’s general manager development services, Chris McCluskey, said the upgrade would benefit customers and retailers alike at the centre.
“At ISPT, we strive to give customers a premium shopping experience; this development will firmly establish Richmond Marketplace as the most modern and convenient shopping centre in the region,” Mr McCluskey said.
“With works expected to be completed in December, the refreshed and modern centre will be the perfect destination for customer’s festive season shopping.”
Temporary changes at the centre include additional temporary amenities and a parents’ room in the courtyard area, with the original amenities still located outside Woolworths.
“It’s business as usual at the centre, Richmond Marketplace will continue to trade as normal with access to all retailers and the food court will remain open,” Mr McCluskey said.
