Chasing elusive bard in free talk
This year is four centuries since the death of William Shakespeare and Hawkesbury Library Service will mark the date.
While most of us are familiar with some of his works, what do we actually know about Shakespeare the man?
Come to a free talk on Tuesday, July 26 from 4-5pm and find out how influential Shakespeare’s family background was in forming him as the playwright he would become, and how the social, political and theatrical times affected his work.
The talk will be held at Hawkesbury Central Library, Deerubbin Centre, 300 George Street Windsor. You must book, on 4560 4460 or email programs@hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au.
Include your name and contact number and the name of the event.
