Swedish hardcore exponents Raised Fist have locked in December dates for Australia and New Zealand.
The visit will be the band’s first in four years and comes in support of their current longplayer, From The North.
Formed more than 20 years ago, Raised Fist is regarded one of the longest-running and most vital acts in the hardcore scene.
Constantly pushing the boundaries with each album, their diverse mix of New York hardcore, Swedish punk and heavy metal, set them apart from their contemporaries.
From The North sees the band push ahead at full force, with ample power behind their lyrics and music.
“This time we have a foundation of extremely good riffs, we have great arrangements, some extremely fierce and elaborate vocals, an amazing production and it all comes together as the best album we could possibly have done at this time in our career,” said vocalist Alexander Hagman.
Raised Fist are well known for their formidable live shows, overflowing with energy and irrepressible rage.
The tour kicks off on Tuesday, November 29, in Auckland, before arriving on Australian soil for a Newcastle show at the Cambridge Hotel on Thursday, December 1.
They will play The Metro in Sydney on Friday, December 2.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 27, from 9am.
