The festival, held at Cliftonville Lodge, was strongly attended with wakeboarders of all ages and abilities joining in on the fun both on the water and the music festival that followed.
World Champion wakeboarder Harley Clifford came along and did some amazing demonstrations behind local legend Nic Rapa’s Mastercraft Xstar, before Rapa himself put on his own spectacular display.
Major sponsors, Ejected Industries, had their own riders in the competition and were rewarded with podium finishes in several categories.
Festival Director Christian McNally said it was wonderful to see so many new faces this year.
“Great music, a day on the water, a chance to compete in a relaxed environment and demos from the worlds best riders is not something you get to experience everyday,” Mr McNally said.
“People have travelled from Tamworth, Ballina and even Melbourne for this so we are thrilled that we put on such a good show.”
Now in it’s sixth year, JAM Festival continues to grow and inject tourism dollars into the Hawkesbury Region.
The event features competitions in multiple categories, big air kicker and pro rider demonstrations.
An all Aussie line up with DJ’s and bands deliver entertainment for the two nights of the festival.
