"People also stick with silver tapware, usually going for the bath or shower mixer styles."

Mr Issa said tile insert grates were also popular.

"It is very important to ask expert advice when you shop," he said.

"The bathroom is very big investment and it will look this way for 10 years or more, so you have to feel comfortable."
